Fabric and Firebase Joining Forces

Dear Firebase Developer,

Happy New Year! Google is excited to announce that we've entered into an agreement to acquire Fabric. Fabric will join Google's Developer Product Group and work closely with the Firebase team. Our missions align closely: help developers build better apps and grow their business.

In the short term, there is no need to make any change to your implementation. The integration of Fabric is part of our larger, long-term effort of delivering a comprehensive suite of features for iOS, Android and mobile Web app development. We'll be working together in the coming weeks to make plans with the Fabric team.
